'Beautiful' mum Erana Nahu stabbed to death in Sydney’s west

A 'beautiful' mum of two stabbed to death in the early hours of the morning in Sydney's West has been named.

Erana Nahu, 43, was found by emergency services with stab wounds to her back and arms after being called at 2am, but couldn’t be saved.

Her primary school-aged children were not home.

A neighbour called the emergency services after hearing screaming.

One neighbour said: “She was beautiful. She was the first person we knew when we moved into the area, beautiful kids.

“Everyone knew who she was, just a beautiful person. Now it's left two kids motherless.

“It's not fair. Two babies that have got to grow up without their mum.”

Her 58-year old partner Jamie Fredes has been arrested  and is expected to be charged today.
