UAE weather alert: Speed limits reduced on key roads amid thick fog Sunday morning

As thick fog descended upon UAE on Sunday morning, the national Met department (NCM) issued a weather alert for residents.

Earlier, Abu Dhabi Police took to social media to inform motorists about speed limits being reduced on key Abu Dhabi, Dubai roads for their safety. Authorities in UAE urge motorists to follow traffic rules and abide by revised speed limits while driving in foggy weather.

The speed limits have been reverted to the normal limits.

It will get humid by night and Monday morning with a probability of fog and mist formation over some coastal and internal areas.

Light to moderate winds. The sea will be slight in the Arabian Gulf and in Oman Sea.
