There's no shortage of massive structures in Dubai - from the Burj Khalifa, to the Dubai Frame, these structures are one of the city's claim to fame on the world stage. But did you ever wonder how these structures maintain their sheen all year round?
Let's take the Dubai Frame for example. Just like the Burj Khalifa, it requires the combined effort of professional cleaners to get the job done.
In a video released by Dubai Frame, viewers are given a glimpse at how the 150-metre high landmark remains sparkling all year. The gold-clad, Expo-2020 inspired structure provides visitors with uninterrupted views of Old Dubai and New Dubai.
The cleaners are secured at the top of the structure using heavy-duty cables. They then rappel down the frame, wiping off any dirt and grim from it. They continue to descend from the structure - leaving it squeaky clean in the process.
Earlier, Khaleej Times reported on how the world's tallest building - the Burj Khalifa is cleaned. Unlike most window cleaning gigs, the task of cleaning the Burj requires the use of precision instruments and team effort.
