Tyga is sending a message to his doubters with his jewelry.
The “Rack City” rapper, 29, just spent $500K on an enormous new chain, according to TMZ.
The necklace includes a diamond-covered pendant, designed by Ben Baller and IF & Co. Jewelry, in the image of Archangel St. Michael trampling on Satan.
According to the jeweler, the New Testament imagery signifies Tyga’s comeback and triumph over his “haters.”
The 18 carat white gold piece that includes the letters “LK” next to the angel, which stands for Tyga’s brand, Last Kings weighs more than four pounds.
The purchase comes after a long financial struggle for Kylie Jenner’s ex-boyfriend. Not only is he currently suing ex-label partners Lil Wayne and Birdman for $1 million in royalties, but he also had his car repossessed earlier this year for at least the third time since 2016 for failure to make payments and owes nearly $900K in back-taxes after he refused to pay the IRS anything between 2011 and 2016.
Perhaps Tyga sought out Ben Baller because, in 2016, he owed celeb jeweler Jason Arasheben (also known as Jason of Beverly Hills) $200,000 plus interest, though he eventually paid it off.
If you thought that his bling was over the top, Tyga didn’t stop there; he bought ten miniature versions of the necklace for his crew.
He’s already been rocking the new ice at Coachella and on the cover of his new single, “Goddamn.”
