One of the biggest Bellator MMA fights of the year goes down later tonight (Sat., Jan. 26, 2019) at Bellator 214 from inside The Forum in Inglewood, Calif., as MMA legend Fedor Emelianenko and Bellator light heavyweight champion Ryan Bader square off in the Heavyweight Grand Prix finale.
Bellator 214 is exclusive to Paramount Network (formerly Spike TV) in the United States. Check your local providers. It will also be streamable online via DAZN.
Should Bader knock off Fedor he will become the first fighter in Bellator history to simultaneously hold two separate titles. If Fedor is able to defy the betting odds and hand Bader his first ever Bellator loss, then one of the greatest heavyweights of all time will once again have a gold belt wrapped around his waste.
It should be quite the spectacle, especially considering “Last Emperor” will be making his first appearance on California soil since getting submitted by Fabricio Werdum back in 2010 under the Strikeforce banner.
But when will the two heavyweight title hopefuls actually take center stage later tonight at Bellator 214?
With four fights scheduled to take places before the main event, including the return of MMA prodigy Aaron Pico and the Bellator debut of former WWE star Jack Hager (better known as Jack Swagger), Fedor vs. Bader is unlikely to go down anytime before 11:30 p.m. ET. Mix in some promos and cage entrances and the heavyweight title fight might even commence closer to midnight.
Obviously that start time is subject to change based on quick finishes up and down the main card so be sure to stick with Mania for any updates.
MMAmania.com will deliver LIVE round-by-round, blow-by-blow coverage of the entire Bellator 214 fight card, starting with DAZN “Prelims” undercard bouts at 7:00 p.m. ET before the main card start time at 9 p.m. ET on Paramount Network.
