The Block contestant spent weeks renovating five properties in Melbourne's Brighton.

And all their efforts finally came to a head on Saturday as they arrived on-set for the show's live auctions.

Looking worlds away from their usual appearance on the construction site, Jimmy and Tam made a glittering arrival as their home went under the hammer.

Tam was dressed in a 1980s-inspired printed blazer and skirt, paired with a black studded belt and a lacy, high-necked blouse.

Her nails were painted yellow and her fiery hair was styled in a bouffant beehive.

Jimmy kept his look far more understated, wearing a simple black suit and tie, and accessorised with a pocket square that matched Tam's blazer.
