Theyre back!

Taco Bell announced Thursday that it is bringing back potato products nationwide beginning on March 11.

That means the much-desired Cheesy Fiesta Potatoes and other favorites like the Spicy Potato Soft Taco will return to the menu after a brief hiatus.

Taco Bell says the items were temporarily removed to simplify the efforts of employees who had to deal with increased drive-thru traffic amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Taco Bell is also teaming up with Beyond Meat to create an innovative new plant-based protein that will be tested in the next year. This will be the brands first foray into plant-based meat in the U.S.

The return of our beloved potatoes is just the first step in showing our fans the strong continued commitment to vegetarian we are making this year, said Liz Matthews, Taco Bells Global Chief Food Innovation Officer.

We have long been a leader in the vegetarian space, but this year, we have more meatless options in store that vegetarians, veggie-curious and even meat-eaters will love.

Fans will be able to order the Spicy Potato Soft Taco for $1 and the Cheesy Fiesta Potatoes for $1.49 when theyre back on the menu in March at participating U.S. locations.

Hallelujah! 2021 is trending up.
