San Antonian's viral Blue Bell ice cream-licking video continues to draw social media reaction

Almost two weeks have passed since a video of a San Antonio teenage girl licking ice cream from a Blue Bell carton went viral, but the conversation on social media continues.

The Cibolo Police Department uploaded a photo of five of its officers jokingly guarding the ice cream aisle at a local supermarket Monday, receiving over 1,200 likes and more than 500 shares on Facebook.

"Not today! #notonourwatch," the post read.

On Tuesday, Anson Police Department posted a picture of a longhorn named Trump licking a carton of Blue Bell ice cream, mimicking the viral video of the local teenager.

"A new Blue Bell licker has been located," the Facebook post said. "***Further information: We are sharing this photo as part of a larger investigation with other agencies and private citizens.***"

The post of the longhorn had over 100 shares on Facebook.

Last weekend, the Keller Police Department shared a "fun" post of two of its officers guarding the ice cream aisle to prevent any Blue Bell licking copycats.

The video of the girl licking a carton of Blue Bell ice cream and then placing it back on the shelf was viewed more than 12 million times on Twitter in late June.
