With his arms slung around two teammates for support, Nuggets point guard Jamal Murray was helped off the court late in the first half of Wednesdays game against the Hornets after injuring his left ankle.

Murray came down awkwardly at the Pepsi Center after contesting a 3-pointer from Charlotte guard Terry Rozier, and Murray was reeling on the ground for several minutes. He was ruled out for return in the second half and replaced by reserve point guard Monte Morris in the starting lineup.

Nuggets reserves P.J. Dozier and Vlatko Cancar helped Murray off the court, while he was careful not to put any pressure on his left foot.

Once Murray got to the tunnel leading to the teams locker room, he took his time before being carted off in a wheelchair. Murray had five points, two steals and one assist before his exit.

The X-rays on Murray’s left ankle have come back negative.
