One of Lori Loughlin‘s daughters has decided to make her life more private amid a very public scandal involving her family.
Isabella “Bella” Giannulli has deleted her Instagram account after her parents, Loughlin and fashion designer Mossimo Giannulli, pleaded not guilty in the college admissions bribery scam. The 20-year-old University of Southern California student, who has taken a leave from the school, deactivated about a month after Loughlin did the same to her own account.
Bella’s younger sister, popular YouTube star and Instagram influencer Olivia Jade Giannulli, still has an active account, though she hasn’t posted since February. The 19-year-old beauty blogger is said to be “devastated” after learning of her parents’ alleged involvement in the scheme.
Olivia is devastated and completely embarrassed. She feels like shes lost nearly all of her friends because of this,” a friend of Olivia Jade’s told CNN. “Shes barely speaking to her parents.”
Loughlin and Giannulli are facing up to 20 years each behind bars on charges of conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud and conspiracy to commit money laundering for allegedly paying college prep adviser William Rick Singer $500,000 to bribe their daughters way into USC as fake crew recruits.
The A-list couple were among dozens of wealthy parents busted last month for allegedly taking part in Singers scheme including actress Felicity Huffman, who has agreed to a plea deal.
Loughlin and Giannulli have reportedly been reluctant to accept any plea deal that involves jail time.
