The final PGA Tour event before The Open Championship wraps up Sunday, with one more spot in Open qualifying to be decided from the field at the John Deere Classic.
Numerous players near the top of the leaderboard will have a chance to punch their ticket to Scotland from Illinois. One of them is Bill Haas, who has struggled in recent years, dropping outside the top 300 in the world ranking. Haas shot a bogey-free 64 Saturday and will play in the penultimate pairing alongside Adam Schenk Sunday afternoon at 12:35.
They are both chasing Cameron Tringale and Andrew Landry at TPC Deere Run. Both Tringale and Landry are one shot ahead at 16 under after 54 holes. The final group gets going 10 minutes after Haas at 12:45 p.m.
