Job fraud: Four held for cheating man of �47 crore  10/12/2019 17:39:57 

Cyber crime officials of Cyberabad police commissionerate picked up three Nigerians and a woman from Nagaland in New Delhi for allegedly cheating a former employee of Department of Atomic Energy of 47 lakh here.

The gang promised a lucrative job to the victim in California of the United States after a telephonic interview, said Cyberabad Commissioner of Police, V.C. Sajjanar here on Saturday.

Police arrested Diongue Mohammed (35), Musa Halimat (29), Ndour Alioune (32) from Nigeria and Holito Zhimomi (35) of Nagaland. The accused foreign nationals came to India on a visit visa and were overstaying by indulging in cyber crime frauds.

On August 29, a complaint was received from V Rajan Babu of Kukatpally here alleging that he was duped of 47 lakh by an unidentified person on pretext of providing jobs at a hotel in Los Angeles. He is currently working at Patnaik Steels and Alloys Limited, Odisha and frequently changes jobs.

Mr. Sajjanar said that the gang members contacted Mr. Babu after seeing his resume in a reputed web portal and offered a job with $ 1,75,000 per annum salary. The gang also duped a Mumbai-based private employee of 1.50 crore after offering a job in the USA.

Police seized 21 mobile phones, four passports  two Senegal, Nigeria and India, each, apart from 10 international SIM cards and six debit cards. Their bank accounts having 11 lakh were frozen.
