Considered to be unlucky day throughout the world, Friday the 13th generally occurs once in a year.

According to a report in the Independent, the date and the day combination can even occur thrice in a year.

However one special occurance on Friday the 13th this year will be the appearance of the 'Harvest Moon', which will be witnessed by many of the Americans on this day, the Time magazine reported.

The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), also reported that even though the full moon will be visible on early Saturday morning, September 14, at 12:33 am EST, but the people in Central, Mountain and Pacific time zones in the United States of America will be able to spot it before midnight on Friday the 13th (8:33 PM Friday, in Dubai).

The moon is to appear full for three whole days. Starting right from Thursday until Sunday morning. This is going to be the first full moon to be appearing in the US since Friday the 13th since October 13, 2000).

The International Astronomical Center (IAC) in Abu Dhabi had also announced the occurrence of a partial solar eclipse on Friday, July 13, 2018.
