Florida will start counting ballots again in its Senate and gubernatorial races, as vote differentials in both contests held below the 0.5 percent threshold required to trigger mandatory machine recounts, Secretary of State Ken Detzner announced.

Republican Rick Scott narrowly leads incumbent Democrat Bill Nelson in the race for the U.S. Senate seat, while the GOP’s Ron DeSantis is slightly ahead of Democrat Andrew Gillum to become the state’s next governor, succeeding Scott.

Ahead of Detzner’s announcement a Florida state website was updated to say “Machine Recount Indicated” underneath both sets of unofficial votes. The race for agriculture commissioner was also within the margin for a recount, and the website indicated as much.
