Dog attack leaves young girl with serious face injuries  7/17/2017 11:16:37 PM 

A young girl reportedly bitten on the face by a dog has been rushed to a Brisbane hospital.

A critical care paramedic was on board as an ambulance rushed to a home in Redbank Plains about 7.45am to reports of a dog bite.

The girl, described as younger than school age, suffered serious facial injuries and was taken to the Lady Cilento Children's Hospital in a stable condition.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said the service received a call to say the girl had been bitten on the face by a dog.
