Pete Davidson continues to ink over his relationship with Ariana Grande.

One of Davidson’s go-to tattoo artists, Jon Mesa, shared a picture on Instagram of the “Saturday Night Live” star’s back to reveal a new Tootsie Pop owl tattoo. What caught fans’ attention, however, wasn’t necessarily the candy-inspired tattoo but rather the word “CURSED” written on the back of his neck. Eagle-eyed fans noticed it covered up his old “mille tendresse” ink, which is French for “a thousand tendernesses.” Grande had the same tattoo, which was inspired by “Breakfast at Tiffany’s.”

Davidson got the French art during their brief relationship and engagement.

It’s unclear why he chose the word “cursed,” but given his relationship history — a two-year romance with Cazzie David ended with more tattoo cover-ups — perhaps it has something to do with love. Though he’s now been linked to Kate Beckinsale, so his personal life may be turning around.

Davidson’s rep didn’t return our request for comment.

As Page Six previously reported, Davidson also covered up his Grande-inspired bunny ears tattoo with a black heart. Grande also has been covering up tattoos dedicated to her ex-fiancé, including his name on her finger. She also covered up “reborn” — which Davidson also had — with what appeared to be a feather or leaf.

Despite the comings and goings of tattoos on their bodies, both the pop star and the comedian have plenty of other tattoos to keep their skin looking fresh.
