Cuban Vice Foreign Minister concludes working visit to BeninHAVANA, Cuba, Sep 13 (ACN) Cuba's Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs, Rogelio Sierra Diaz, concludes his working visit to Benin on Thursday as part of his tour through several African nations.During his stay in that country, Sierra Diaz exchanged views with the President of the Assembly, Louis Vlavonou; the Minister of State and Minister for Planning and Development, Abdoulaye Bio Tchane; the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Aurelien Agbenonci and the Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Herve Dadjedji Djopke, among other authorities, Cubaminrex reported.The meetings ratified the two governments' interest in deepening diplomatic relations, as well as the bonds of cooperation and solidarity.The Cuban diplomat also held talks with Cubans living in that country and with the Association of Beninese Graduates in Cuba.Cuba has contributed to the training of 346 young Beninese and currently welcomes 26 students from that brother country.

February 1, 2019 marked the 45th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two nations.
