The Red Sox were off Monday but still were able to pick up a half-game in the standings when the Rays lost to the Mariners.

Heres where the Sox stand after Monday (Aug. 19):

6 games behind the Rays for the second wild-card spot

7.5 games behind the Indians for the first wild-card spot

16 games behind the Yankees in the A.L. East
