French architect Robert Couturier stole the spotlight at a Zoom gala by showing off his favorite trinket  an incense burner once owned by Marie Antoinette.

Were told Couturier  who was being honored by the French Heritage Society  gave an impromptu tour of his upstate home, and took out the painted toile item.

Guests oohed and aahed as he showed her initials, M.A., spelled out in flowers, said a partygoer.

The events chairs were CeCe Black, Jean Shafiroff (wearing one of her signature ballgowns, long gloves and a French hat), Geoffrey Bradfield, Elisa Fredrickson and Ann Van Ness, along with French Heritage Society chair Elizabeth Stribling.

Also joining the fun were Couturiers five well-groomed Shih Tzus.
