Adele will be saying “Hello” from Studio 8H next weekend.
On Sunday, the 32-year-old singer announced she’ll be making her hosting debut on the Oct. 24 episode of “Saturday Night Live,” where she’ll be joined by singer-songwriter H.E.R. as the musical guest.
“Im so excited about this!! And also absolutely terrified! My first ever hosting gig and for SNL of all things!!!!” the Grammy winner exclaimed on Instagram.
“Ive always wanted to do it as a stand alone moment, so that I could roll up my sleeves and fully throw myself into it, but the time has never been right,” she continued. “But if there was ever a time for any of us to jump head first into the deep end with our eyes closed and hope for the best its 2020 right?”
Adele, who appeared on “SNL” in 2008 and 2015 as the musical guest, also gushed about seeing H.E.R. perform next week.
“I am besides myself that H.E.R will be the musical guest!! I love her SO much I cant wait to melt into a flaming hot mess when she performs, then confuse myself while I laugh my arse off in between it all,” Adele posted.
In response to Adele’s announcement, social media naturally lost it.
“Enjoy the awesome ride!” Gal Gadot commented.
“Omg omg omg omg omg omg,” Derek Blasberg wrote.
