Amazon is adding some color to its Echo. The voice assistant will soon be able to turn yellow when you have a voice or text message, as opposed to the green light that appears when you have an incoming call. Currently the light will flash green both when you have a call coming in or when you have a message, which can be confusing.

This is the second announced update to Echo calling in as many weeks. Last week, Amazon let users block calls on the device, fixing a major oversight that should’ve been a part of the launch of the service. Amazon hasn’t given a firm release date for the color update, but given the usual weekly update schedule for the Echo, it should roll out relatively soon.
